About Treatment

Treatments consist of evaluation and acupuncture, but may also include electric stimulation, moxa, and recommendations for exercise, nutrition, or herbs based on Chinese medicine.

Initial Visit

Your first visit includes an evaluation, acupuncture, lasts approximately 1.5 hours, and costs $125. We will discuss your current health concerns, medical history, including any Western diagnoses or treatments, and will develop a working Chinese medical diagnosis and initial treatment plan.

Subsequent Visits

Follow-up appointments include an evaluation and acupuncture, lasts approximately one hour, and costs $85.

Fees and Insurance

While our office does not directly bill insurance, we are familiar with CPT and ICD10 codes and can provide you with a superbill / receipt that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Please note that you are responsible for any portion of your bill not reimbursed by insurance.

Herbs, if desired, are approximately $25 p/week.

Flex-spending and health-savings accounts reimburse acupuncture costs.

We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. Returned checks will incur a bank fee.

Confidentiality

Your patient records and patient information will be kept confidential and shared only when necessary to provide care and services, or by your authorization, or when required or permitted by law.

Missed Appointment Policy

If you need to change or cancel your appointment please do so with 24 hours notice. With the exception of emergencies, failure to do so will result in being charged the full fee for your appointment.
